Meeting Notes from 3.26.24
Gratitude for Timeliness
We extend our heartfelt thanks to our members for their punctuality at our recent church business meeting. The respect and timeliness everyone displayed allowed us to navigate through an ambitious agenda in just 60 minutes. As we move forward, let's continue to honor our commitment to God's timing, which is always perfect.
Emphasizing Rest and Healing
Yahshua's World reaffirms its mission as a haven for men of God, particularly Black men in America, who have long sought rest. In the stronghold of the Lord, under Christ's yoke, we find our sanctuary. True growth and healing begin with rest (Isaiah 30:15), a principle we're committed to fostering within our community.
Manufacturing Strong Men in the Lord
We addressed the critical shortage of God-fearing men, emphasizing the need for institutions dedicated to nurturing spiritually resilient men. Through healing spiritual wounds and bolstering our faith in Christ, we can cultivate a generation that draws strength directly from the Lord.
Freedom from the Corporate Plantation
A significant portion of our discussion focused on liberating Men of God from the corporate grind, highlighting the mental and spiritual health crises that arise from living outside God's purpose. Our initiatives aim to support and encourage men in fulfilling their God-ordained work, fostering joy and spiritual nourishment.
The Power of Team Support
David Jackson reminded us of the unparalleled support a team offers. Yahshua's World is a collective of servant leaders united in serving the Lord. By combining our gifts with God's provision, we can achieve abundance and fulfill the roles God has set for us before our birth.
Schedule Updates and Opportunities
We announced new schedules for our church meetings, New Jerusalem sessions, Bible study, and fellowship meetings. We welcome volunteers to help set up for our fellowship meetings, embracing the spirit of service and community.
Introducing the New Financial Engine
A groundbreaking discussion introduced a new financial engine for Yahshua's World, designed to foster economic development and self-sustainability without relying on traditional tithing. This model encourages sharing gifts within our community, backing businesses with interest-free loans, and sharing in the profits, marking a path towards financial freedom and fulfilling our divine calling.
The Royal Priesthood of Christ
Our meeting explored our role in the royal priesthood of Christ, aligning with the Order of Melchizedek. This spiritual covenant underpins our mission to educate and initiate others into this profound understanding of Christ's priesthood and the New Covenant.
The Lamb of God Catering Initiative
Lastly, we discussed launching The Lamb of God catering business, a church-run initiative aimed at providing employment and teaching business skills within our community. Centered around a beloved staple, fried chicken, this business represents our first step towards financial independence and community empowerment.
As we reflect on the profound discussions and initiatives unveiled at our meeting, we're filled with gratitude and anticipation for the journey ahead. Let's carry these insights and commitments forward, building a stronger, more empowered community in service to the Lord and each other.
